If your wisdom teeth are impacted or growing in crooked, they may need to be extracted. Our experienced and friendly dentists at the Malo Dental can handle the whole process on-site in our Robina practice.

With full x-ray equipment, we can conduct thorough assessments of your wisdom teeth to determine what treatment is required. We can also offer in-chair wisdom teeth extractions, or removal of one or multiple wisdom teeth under anaesthetic.

We are the only dental clinic on the Gold Coast to have a full operating theatre in-practice. This not only can save you time (from not having to visit multiple sites) but it also offers cost savings.

Endodontic or Root Canal Therapy

In the event of an infected tooth, or multiple infected teeth, our experienced Robina dentists can conduct root canal or endodontic therapy. With state-of-the-art facilities in our new Gold Coast dental clinic, we can conduct root canals on-site.

You also have the option of having your root canal treatment whilst under anaesthetic. Learn more about our Sleep Dentistry.

Children’s Dentistry

It’s important to start forming healthy oral habits from a young age and making the dentist a positive and fun experience for kids. We provide a comfortable and enjoyable setting for your child to get their regular check-up, cleans/scales and fluoride treatment.

Our kids’ dental services are conducted by experienced and friendly dentists from our new dental practice in Robina. We recommend that children’s check-ups are scheduled every six months to develop really positive habits.

Why is Dental Health So Important?

Taking care of your teeth and gums is beneficial, not only for your oral health, but for your overall wellness. Good oral health can help to prevent a wide range of issues, including bad breath, gum disease and tooth decay. We recommend that you come in for general check-ups and cleans every six months, so that we can help you to stay on track with your oral health and provide you with information and advice regarding your dental hygiene habits.

We also encourage our patients to take good care of their oral health by practising good hygiene habits at home. These include regular brushing and flossing in order to remove any plaque that has built up on the surface of the teeth and gum line. When left to build up, plaque promotes the accumulation of harmful bacteria in the mouth, and can often lead to an infection known as gingivitis. Gingivitis, if left untreated, can develop into a more serious form of gum disease called periodontitis.

Periodontitis is a form of infection and can cause some serious damage to the teeth and gums, including tooth loss. The condition can also lead to a number of other serious health issues, including diabetes and cardiovascular disease. If you have any questions or concerns about your overall oral health and how to take better care of your teeth and gums, we encourage you to come in and see us for a consultation. Our team is experienced and dedicated to providing top quality care, as well as advice and ongoing support to each patient.
